Founded in 1994, Mélo'Men, the 'Choeur International Gai de Paris' is a male voice choir whose members have in common their love of singing and their gay identity.
Musically directed by John Dawkins since 1996, Mélo'Men has extended its musical horizons with performances of works such as Britten's 'The Ballad of Little Musgrave and Lady Barnard', Schubert's 'Gesang der Geister über den Wassern' or the 'Requiem en Ré mineur' by Cherubini with the Rainbow Symphony Orchestra.
In a community hit by AIDS, Mélo'Men is committed to activities proving its solidarity. Every year the choir takes part in several events, notably the charity concert, 'Voices against AIDS'; all benefits being donated to a non-profit fighting AIDS organisation.
